the 'mass' of individual energies is perhaps analogous to the glia [glue cells] of the brain/mind? The standard medical hierarchy definition is that Glia is simply & only use is as the "glue" that provides the real estate for the 'elite' synapse central nervous relay cells.[the things that actually seem to form and transmit the signals of mind function which by current medical thought, is the ONLY 'important to mind/thought functions' cells in the brain. They were proved wrong when it was discovred that the "Glia" [the glue that 'holds the brain together and provides the cellular mass for the 'messenger cells' to relay their messages, were FAR more than idle real estate waiting to be paved by neuron highways! They are like the worker bees they are the repairers and maintainers and rebuilders -quite literally the 'glue' that maintains the physical structure of the brain AND mind! Just as "we the people" vox populi] are in relation to the hierarchy of civil society. Humble, seemingly unremarkable, yet misunderstood or not known about and yet Essential & vital even, to its existence AND the function & existence of all the other types of brain cells. For the greatest and most complex sentient marine life -such as whales to exist & thrive, you first need flotsam and algal diatoms to exist! & both need the oceans atmosphere to exist.
